Kazakhstan: recognising a Turkish diploma
Start with Kazakhstan’s official recognition service and national information centre. Their published procedure gives you a concrete checklist, but each qualification still has to be assessed under the category that applies to it.

The authority
ENIC-NARIC identifies the Higher Education Development National Center as Kazakhstan’s national information centre. Use its current official contacts for preliminary questions and the government service page for the application procedure. Network membership identifies a contact point; it does not make recognition automatic.
The procedure and the timing
The government service distinguishes ordinary higher/postgraduate qualifications from doctoral categories. For the ordinary category, it lists 15 working days through the portal or 25 through the public service corporation for legalised/apostilled documents; without that authentication, 35 or 45 respectively. These are published service periods, not a universal 30-day promise. Prepare identity details, diploma and supplement, required certified translations and authentication or applicable treaty-exemption evidence.
Do the check before you apply, not after you graduate
Before enrolling, send the centre your institution, programme, degree level, study mode and intended use. Ask about eligibility, required documents and any separate professional route. Keep the reply as guidance for your planning; it is not an unconditional advance recognition decision for a degree you have not yet completed.
What this does not cover
Academic recognition and the right to practise a regulated profession are different things. A recognised degree establishes the level and equivalence of your qualification; it does not by itself grant you a licence to practise medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, law, architecture or any other regulated profession in Kazakhstan. Those come from the relevant professional or sectoral authority, often with additional examinations or supervised practice. If you are heading into a regulated field, ask that authority separately and before you choose your programme.

Does Kazakhstan recognise all Turkish universities?

The procedure assesses a qualification rather than pre-approving institutions, so the reliable answer for your case comes from asking ENIC-Kazakhstan about your specific university and programme in writing.
Which processing time applies to me?
Select the qualification and document-authentication category on the current government service page. Doctoral categories have different periods, and document preparation or translation happens before the service clock begins.
