Applicants must be high-school graduates or in their final year and meet at least one of the eligibility categories on the Apply to IZU page; Turkish citizens who completed all of their secondary education in Turkey or the TRNC are not accepted, nor are candidates expelled from a Turkish higher education institution on disciplinary grounds. Applications are submitted through the university's online system at apply.izu.edu.tr, uploading the diploma, transcript, identity document, high-school leaving exam results, any university entrance exam results, a photograph and, for in-country applicants, proof of legal stay. High-school graduation exams such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate and Tawjihi have no expiry, while university entrance exams such as SAT, ACT and TCS are valid for two years; the university also runs its own IZU-YOS exam in three sessions. The cited fees page publishes the 2025-2026 standard annual undergraduate tuition as USD 7,000 including VAT and lists 25%, 50% and 100% scholarship tiers. These are historical figures; confirm the exact current tuition and scholarship-adjusted amount on the university's official Fees and Scholarships page before payment.
