Admission requirements

Piri Reis University runs a dedicated international admissions site. Eligibility follows the Turkish 'student from abroad' rules: foreign nationals who did not complete their entire high school in Türkiye, Blue Card holders, later-naturalised and dual nationals who did not study at high school in Türkiye or the TRNC, Turkish citizens who completed all of high school abroad including at MEB-affiliated Turkish schools abroad, and TRNC nationals holding GCE A-Level or TR-YÖS. The published route has five steps: apply online through the university's portal with document uploads, evaluation by the International Office against the applicant's exam result or high school GPA, issue of a YÖKSİS acceptance letter with an ID number, obtaining the student visa at a Turkish mission, then in-person registration with original documents, the Denklik equivalency certificate and the payment receipt, followed by a residence permit application after arrival.

Some Turkish capital-markets roles require specific SPL licences. Accountancy and other reserved duties have separate eligibility rules; a finance degree alone grants neither.
