Maltepe University admits international applicants through its International Office site. Eligibility follows the YÖK "student from abroad" rules: foreign nationals who did not attend high school in Türkiye or the TRNC, dual nationals and Blue Card holders in the same position, Turkish citizens who completed all of high school abroad, and TRNC nationals holding GCE A-Level or meeting TR-YÖS conditions. Applications are made individually and free of charge through the university's MÜBİS foreign-national application system, where the applicant registers an e-mail address, confirms a 6-digit code and uploads documents. The International Office evaluates each file on the applicant's level of education, grade average and any programme-specific conditions, and publishes decisions in the application system.
